A New Year

As we approach the end of January - the first month of the new year - I’ve been reflecting on the months to come. We have accomplished a lot over the past two, almost 3 years. From building our board, obtaining our 501(c)(3), raising awareness of the sanctuary, supporting numerous shelter dogs, to welcoming our first sanctuary pup. But what about the future?

Our goal of having the sanctuary up and running by 2027 is approaching fast. We are one step away from obtaining land, which means the building of the sanctuary is just around the corner. It is a pinch me moment for those of us who have witnessed this organization grow from a simple idea: build a sanctuary for dogs. But it also means that we need our community more than ever…we can’t do this without you! Your support is the backbone to this organization; there isn’t a sanctuary without our community. Kris and all the future residents deserve this: a place that gives them what they need to thrive. To be loved. And to call home.

This year will be one of learning, community, growth, and best of all: helping more dogs. So stick around - because great things are coming!!
