June Events
This summer is all about the DOGS! This past week we hosted our first event, Barks & Bingo, of our Dog-Friendly Event Series at LTS Brewing Company in Rochester, MN.
Part of the series is our Rescue Meet Up: Paws and Claws Humane Society Alumni Night on Thursday, June 12th from 6p-8p, Bow Wow Luau on Saturday, June 28th from 12p-4p, AND Puzzles with Pooches on Monday, June 30th from 6p-8p. All of these events will take place at LTS Brewing Company & pups are welcomed!!
At our Rescue Meet Up, Companion Homestead will be providing raffle prizes every 15 minutes, starting at 6p. This is a FREE raffle! All you have to do is go up to the bar in the tap room to collect your free ticket. You can also get a bonus ticket when you purchase a Fido Flight from Companion Homestead’s table! The Fido Flights consist of two flavors of Tailwagger Dog Beer, a broth bone, and a cup of whipped cream; all for just $5 & all the proceeds go to building the dog sanctuary!
At Puzzles with Pooches, Companion Homestead will be selling cans of Tailwagger Dog Beer for $5/can and will provide the prize basket for the first team to complete their puzzle. Again, all the proceeds from the Dog Beer will go straight to building the dog sanctuary.
At Bow Wow Luau, we will have a tent that you can visit to learn more about how we are helping the pups in our community, how you can support us, upcoming events, AND we will be selling handmade snuffle mats & rope toys! All proceeds go directly towards building the dog sanctuary!
Another Dog-Friendly event that we are participating in is ROCHESTERFEST! Taking place at Soldier’s Field in Rochester, MN from Tuesday, June 24th - Friday, June 27th 10a-1p, AND Saturday, June 28th from 10a-5p. We will have raffles for you to enter to win, handmade keychains from Pete & Emme Custom Woodworks for you to purchase, AND our friends at Companion Acres will have Fido Flights - all proceeds go to building the sanctuary!
